| Mt. Pleasant Township Volunteer Fire Company will host the 28th annual Hickory Apple Festival October 1st - 2nd, 2011. The Mt. Pleasant Township Volunteer Fire Company is located approximatley 25 miles southwest of Pittsburgh in Washington County. Our firefighters travel 88 miles of road to serve 3,422 residents and a number of businesses. |

| The fire company thrives because of the hard work and dedication of its members, including the Ladies Auxiliary, and the generous support of the people, businesses, and organizations from the township and nearby communities. The Hickory Apple Festival is the largest fundraiser for the Mt. Pleasant Fire Department. |
